It was a very reserved night for the Oscar watching JewelryFanatics. Many took to Twitter for their own live twitter stream (#oscarjewelry) to see the jewels the minute they hit the red carpet. Oooh, the glamour. Oooh, the amazing designs.
Many of us were still waiting by the time the carpet was rolled up.

Amy Adams' Cartier emerald and diamond wrap necklace and a 30.75-carat carved emerald and diamond bracelet-watch worth $1.025 million...... great jewel, but universally thought of as a bad choice with that neckline.

I love Natalie and Marisa's earrings. Yellow gold was cool at one point but there are just so many other beautiful options today, as we can see above.
